Treehugger Collection - SS24

Resilience: Climate Optimism

In playing with the contrast between transparent and coarse fabrics, both aspects of trees and humanity are shown: delicacy and resiliency. The soft color palette alludes to healing, and the silhouettes have both strong and fluid components to promote a balanced contrast.

Techniques at Play:

- Lichen inspired ruffles with textural embroidery elements

- Leaf-embroidery overlapped on dissolvable interfacing to create lace

- Original print design: Treehugger Pattern

- Spiral topstitched "tree-stump" embellishments

- Organic prints painted on with coffee-dye
